hello... as per revised sch vi computer software are classified under intangible asset... so now whats the rate of dep for computer software ? 25% or 60%

for I-T purpose, the assets are required to be taken under the respective block & not as per Co's Act. Hence the rate of deprn shud be taken as 60% only.

Hey kaya ,
i think even the computer software comes under the same block as that of computer and hence 60% depreciation rate is applicable to it
