For getting rank in I.P.C.C, u should attempt both groups together & previous attempts will not be considered for getting rank, all that u have to be in top scorer.

Rank is given only to those who gives BOTH GROUPS TOGETHER.

If any person first attempts Group 1 and gets exemption in any subject(s) or clear group

then have to surrender his exemption or result and attempt both group together, this is the only way to get eligible for rank.

In your case, you have neither got any exemption nor cleared your group, so just go for both groups and you will be eligible for both groups.
