registration certificate shows date of August as validty from
but some purchase has been made in July from registered dealer and also some tax invoices issued and told customer that GST no. will be provided later and now I got GSTIN and provided to debtors and creditors
now my question is will I get ITC on my purchase of July and my customer on their Purchase from me?
every different CA has their own opinion

you will get itc only for those invoices for which the itc has beeb passes to you by your suppliers via gstr 1.
JUST LIKE THIS IF U PASS ITC VIA GSTR 1 TO YOUR CUSTOMERS THEY WILL GET IT.

since you have taken new registration your liability to collect tax will start from the date of you registration....if date of registration mentioned in your certificate is in August than you cannot file return of July as there was no liability in July........if registration date is in July than only you can file the return of July......

however it will also depend on whether you have taken registration on compulsory basis or voluntary basis.....if registration is taken compulsorily than you liability start on the date from which you become liable to register.......on the other hand if registration is voluntary than you liability start on the date on which registration is granted

you will get itc on the goods lying in your stock on the day before you became liable to take registration.....suppose you became liable to registration on 10 August....you will get itc on goods lying in you stock on 9th August......

your customer will get itc from purchases made by them from you for only those invoices which were issued on or after the date of you became liable to pay gst.....if you have charged gst from any customer before the date on which you were liable to charge gat than you must return that amount to customer
