Query : set-off of marks in case of exemption

I have got Exemption in 2 subjects of group 1. Audit and C law 60 and 62 respectively (May'2011 attempt)

In case i score 50 each in account and SFM in Nov'2011 attempt, am i going to get set-off of 22 marks in second group...?

yes you will get the benefit of exemption and set off together in this attempt

i didnt see it on a "rule" or sumthing...i just happen to know it...my friends have gone thru it...thats it..

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in a Group/unit, if he

secures at one sitting a minimum of 40 percent marks in each paper of

the Group/unit and a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of

all the papers of that group/unit. For the purpose of arriving at the

aggregate marks, 60 percent or more marks secured earlier will also be

taken into account.

U will get set off in 1st group only,not in 2nd group,for passing in 2nd group u will have to score 200. Inter group set off is available only when u pass both groups in a single attempt. And hence the setoff is available when all papers are cleared in the same attempt. All the best.
