QUERY RELATED TO SURRENDR GST REG

If i haven't file the return since July 2017. i want to surrender the registration which i prepared jst for demo bases. will i have to pay aprox 86000 late fee or any other solution is there. I am also surprise, my registration is active till now. as per low it should have inactivate.

we are also shocked you have to cancel if there is no any turnover but the officer will reject your application so have to meet with your jurisdictional officer

if the said registration is for demo purpose and there is no actual sales or turnover reported. Instead of paying late fees it would be better you drop in a letter to your jurisdictional officer.

There is no relaxation from GST ACT perspective try to go for HiGh court writ for such draconian provision.
