gift tax has been abolished in 1998. So, if a father gifts his rental income to his daughter ( amt say 80000 p.a) would it be taxable?? if yes, then under which head?

Gift from 'father' to 'daughter' is totally exempt.!
Gift is Exempt to Parents and Wife and Children
Gift is totally exempted between blood relations
