28 December 2021A Private Limited Company whose Turnover is above Rs 5.00 Crores, we have uploaded GSTR 9 for the F.Y. 2020-21 for the same but unable to upload GSTR 9C as there is an attachment of Balance Sheet and Income & Expenditure. What is the Penalty for GSTR 9C?

Please raise a ticket to GSTN that you are unable to file GSTR-9C. The penalty for GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C is same Rs.200 per day.

Right now there is no penalty for GSTR 9C because the due date was extended by the Govt upto 28th February 2022

Due date extend so need not to worry.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
