I had an exemption from May 2008 in MICS which should be valid for 3 attempts. But I dont know whether it is applicable for the coming exam. We asked in the institute and they said it is not available. Could someone please clear this confusion for mesince I am not a resident of India and phone calls to different institute branches is resulting in different answers?

As ur 3 attempts r over d exemption is not allowed.
exemption for a particular subject is valid for 3 consecutive attempts. hence, u r not eligible for exemption in upcoming exams.

Do 3 consecutive attempts for availing exemption includes the attempt in which we gain the exemption?
if exemption is valid for further 3 attempts excluding attempt in which we gain it...then this guy can avail exemption benefit till Nov 09 exams...isn't it?
the guy had already availed exemption in may, 2008. hence 3 attempts expires in june, 09. so, exemption is nt valid.

Sorry, but I got my exemption in May 2008 when I got more than 60. I didnt use it then (is it?). The marksheet mentioned the exemption in Nov 2008 and for exams following that it didnt. however I could write June 2009 with exempt. The Nov 09 attempt should be my 3rd attempt with the since scored more than 60 in MICS. Will the exempt be valid?
