Relevant costing is basic... U hv to do relevant cost first than anything

i would suggest.....first go for OR.....its not that difficult........plus extremely scoring

thn go for standard costing......need to be thorough wth formulas......can expect atleast 10marks in exams

relevant costing is huge plus highly conceptual........so i would advice either get a copy frm ur frnn or dvd of sanjay ag.........if u are nt good wth concepts....u would face a lot of prblm in exams

and yes even go through theory portion....they are very scoring

1. Relevant Cost

2. OR

3.Decision making

4. Pricing Policy

5. Standard costing

6. Balance as per your wish

yes 1.OR

       2.STANDARD COSTING

        3.RELEVANT COSTING

         4.THEORY PORTION

           5.BUDGETORY CONTROL

             6 TRANSFER PRICING

              7...REST

Dear Khusboo....
There is no fixed pattern for studying the Costing.
Different persons have different views regarding the same.

However i did my costing preparations from two things.
1. Studied the concepts from the notes of SANJAY AGARWAL sir.
2. But, did solved only those questions which are given in STUDY MATERIAL,
i didnt use practice manual or anything else.
i think those two are enough & sufficient to make u confident enough to clear the exams.

1. Simulation

2. Assignment.

3. PERt CPM

4. Transportation.

5. Budget, Pricing Pareto, Return on ROCE,

6. Absorption Costing

7. Relevant Costing.

8. Marginal Costing.

9. Decision Making

and remaining chapters as per your convenience.

focus more on conceptual problems....wid ICAI's study mat and practice manual...read a liitle theory from a gud book b4 jumping into d practicals...avoid large n big size problems....

Thank you every one.. it was very helpful!
last thing i expected in a self-study query was suggestion to join classes!!!!

1. OR

2.Relevant Cost

3.Decision making

4. Pricing Policy

5. Standard costing

6. Balance
