I have one doubt regarding PAN application

 

 

 

Day before yesterday I got a call from a person telling me that

 

 

He wants to apply for 40-50 persons who are working in a Pune in different small companies.

All of them are residing in rural area which is far away from Pune

Now they want all these Pan Cards at a single address for the convenience

 

He also further mentioned that, Company is not ready to give a letter mentioning that the person is employed with us.

 

 

 

Now my queries are

 

 

 

1)     What are the solutions in this case ?

 

 

 

2) Can I mention my name as a Representative Assessee (RA) in PAN Application Form i.e. in Form 49A ?

 

 

 If Yes, then What are my responsibilities Or Is there any kind of Risk Factor ?

 

3)     I have heard that by mentioning my name & address (along with proof) in place of RA, that PAN CARD will be delivered to RA’s Address. Is this Safe or Correct to mention my name as an “RA” in all abovesaid PAN Application Form

 

 

 

4)     If it is possible to mention my name & address in place of RA, then by whom the PAN Application Form must be signed ?

 

 

By the applicant or by the RA ?

Because, in Instructions , it is written that RA must sign the application

RA means the one who is authoriesed to sign on PAN Form.

PAN no. can be issued without employers letter

 

1) first of all inquiry about the address proof of the persons, if they all are from PUNE than they can get all PAN card at same palace,

in addition with above point, if the address of communication is of PUNE than, write PIN code no. of PUNE and all you can get, all the PAN card from the courrier.

 

2) if they all are from other district and from other locations than Employers letter will be a good proof to get all PAN card at one palace.

 

if this is not possible than A Gezzeted officer/ Notery Public / MLA/ MP  can sign on a letter regarding office address. and you can write that in PAN Card form, and tick on Office address, all the PAN card will be delivered to the office address.

Residence Address is necessory

 

mentioning your address as RA will be harmful for you in future. so beware regarding this.

Sir,My friend want to apply for PAN but he have Only Address proof(Ration Card) ID proof not available .so pl's tell me sir it is enough for Application for PAN.
