Query on Section 50C

Dear All,

I need help relating to sec 50C of Income Tax Act.

This sec speaks about determination of sale consideration in case of Land or Building or Both.

Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of word Building does it includes a residential flat used for own residence purpose?
