please help me by giving answer of this question:
an individual assessee has filed ITR 4 in a.y.2011-12 and in sheet PART BS & PL it was shown that regular books of accounts were maintained
can he file ITR 4 in a.y.2012-13 with detail in PART BS & PL-no books of accounts are maintained?
can he file ITR 4S for a.y.2012-13?

Dear Mitul,
As assesse can file ITR 4S if he is covered u/s 44AD or u/s 44AE..
In such sections his turnover should exceed the limit prescribed u/s 44AB and he should show minimum 8% profit of turnover then only he can file ITR 4S...
Please read section 44AD and 44AE for better understanding...
