If taxfree goods are purchased from MS or OMS and if seller has given discount or if there is rate difference
then while filling Form 231 under MVAT, where will this discount or rate difference appear?

Yes,
we can reduced the rate difference from gross sales only when such rate difference is shown in indirect expenses.
if rate difference is shown in direct expenses or not shown in audited profit and loss a/c than we cannot reduce gross sales.
(discount if shown in direct exp than it should be trade discount which should be shown in invoice.)
