my articleship is completing on 4 th feb 2012. i was joined under PE II scheme, in which i was entitled for 156 days leave. in addition to 156 days leave, i took 112.5 days leave. totally 268 days leave during the 3 years articleship.before doing the articleship with my principle i have served as audit assisitant with the same principle for 135 days.
My question is
1) when calculating my extension period do the prior period working calculated as per Regulation 59 & 74? if yes how many days do i want to compensate
2) actual working hours in my office is morning 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e., we are working for 45 hours per week, but stipulated by ICAI is only 35 hours per week. if hour based calculation prevail on days calculation, if that, what is my position, whether do i want to work more or did i served more?
3) in our office article compensate on the basis of no.of days leave took. so which system do i want to follow? days or hours basis?
Please mail me immediately, my terms with my principle is not well. he has granted leave to other articles , when compensation comes he did sign the papers showing that leave is not taken excess as per ICAI, but when my case comes he is telling that actual no.of days leave availed should be mentioned. i am realy tensed , i am not getting concentration for studying for my ca final attempt coming on may 2012. please advise me
