I need to pay Stampy duty of Rs 2700 on allotment of share certificates in Delhi. Pls let me know whether it is mandatory to go for consolidated stamp duty or adhesive stamp on separate sheet would suffice?

Dear Mr. Rajiv,
Payment of consolidated stamp duty on share certificate is not mandatory.In the given case stamp duty can be paid by affixing revenue stamps of Rupee one each aggregating to Rs.2,700/-on the papers to be annexed to the Share Certificate.
