It is never impossible.....be fundamentally clear and practice hard.....depends to quite a great extent on how you manage to score in practical question..most importantly, answer 100 marks

It is not very difficult to score 60+ in Tax Paper

I was bit weak in ST ...so I focused more on Direct tax n Vat.
You can determine your strength area as well. And don't forget to do previous year question papers for better grasp of exam question and PGBP

It is very easy to score 60+ in taxation. it requires :-
(1) must be clear about concept & object of the provisions
(2) simple language to communicate your understanding about provisions
(3) write section/Rule etc if you can remember but never write wrong reference. it would be better to leave to mention section if you are not sure because writing wrong section give two way incorrect impression that niether you know the section which you mention nor you understand the question
(4) attempt all questions
(4) presentation should be neat & clean
I scored 74 makrs in taxation when I cleared my CA (Inter) in 1997

It is not Impossible to get 60+ marks in tax. Attempt 100 marks paper, prefer practicle questions , carefully read the Que. paper & Consider small provisions of tax.

Ofcourse scoring 60 in Tax is Easy. Accounts and TAX are two very good scoring subjects in IPCC Grp-I and All the Best for your preparation.
