hello everyone....
my final attempt is due in nov 10...i m preparing for IDT...but somone today told me that it is not good to prepare 4 IDT now because GST will come in existence if it comes then ur study of custom,excise,vat,service tax will be waste...is it true ????
i m really very confused....is it possible that if it comes then it will be applicable for nov 10 attempt???????i dont know what to do???plz help me........
i too have the same problem.
GST will be applicable from 1-4-2010.
but its not assured. even if it is applicable. it will be impossible to publish books and include it in syllabus. how can some body prepare a new act in 4-5 months after its first launching.
So its impossible for nov 2010. it may be applicable for May 2011. but chances of that are also very less.
so keep preparing. these acts will be waste for practical life but not for exams. so keep studying.
