Whenever we purchase some goods which is sales tax suffered , later on rejected, we have to raise regular salesinvoice to return the goods to the supplier as per the central excise rules. Whether we have to charge sales tax or not?

Since you would have availed input tax credit in the month of purchase, you need to give break-up of basic and VAT so that you pay VAT in the month of returns and the buyer can avail the same based on your invoice.
