we are one of cotton yarn manufacturing unit. some times we could return the purchased raw material cotton to the supplier due quality complaints. as per gst procedure how to return the material to supplier and gst filing. 2 conditions
1. already we taken ITC
2. not accounted but how to return ( transportation procedure under gst)

In case of return of goods, you should insist the supplier to issue a GST credit note for goods returned. Goods should be moved under such credit note plus e-way bill.
The GST charged on the credit note should be reversed in GSTR-3B as credit was availed on all the goods purchased initially.
