Purchase return in gst

Can anybody please confirm,how purchase return shows in GST? If purchased after impemented GST,return through Debit note or Invoice? Where it will be shows in GSTR1 & 3B?

PURCHASE RETURN WILL BE SHOWN IN GSTR 1 AS DEBIT NOTE AGAINST B2B OR B2C INVOICES

IN BOX 9B - CREDIT / DEBIT NOTE (REGISTERED / UNREGISTERED AS THE CASE MAY BE)

you can use debit note & credit note option in GST

purchase return will be done through challan. your supplier will issue credit note and upload in his gstr1 . You don't report anything in your gstr1

Debit note/credit notes table in GSTR 1 is only meant for adjustments to our buyers which may be sale return or reduction in sale value or after sale discount(credit note) , increase in invoice value(debit note).

I.e in GSTR 1 you need not mention particulars of debit note for purchase returns(even you mention it doesn't accept in respect of B2B as invoice matching is taken)

Your required to accept in GSTR 2 ,the credit notes uploaded by your seller ....

What document we have to use it for the same? Sales invoice or debit note?

you should adjust the purchase return taxable and input gst amount with your sale taxable and output gst amount in 3B return, not GSTR-1. And, Don't adjust form EligIble ITC.
