Purchase return debit note issued

in my case I have done purchase return to a supplier due to material defective and issued debit note is I am liable to post that debit note in my gstr 1 return kindly explain me the concept??

In GST regime you are not allowed to issue a debit note. You should ask supplier to issue a credit note and book it in GSTR-1
