Shall i take avg purchase price in purchase column while calculating capita gain or take different purchase prices for each time i buy shares of same company
e.g. if i buy 2 shares of xyz co at 10 and then again 5 shares of xyz co at 12 then should i take average purchase price or calculate apital gain differenty for each lot purchased
Need to consider aggregate price of purchased shares (on FIFO basis), for the number of sold shares during the year...
