I have sold a residential plot for Rs.10 lakhs whose index cost is Rs.2 lakhs resulting in long term capital gain of Rs.8 lakhs.
Can I purchase a residential house from my wife of an amount of Rs.7.5 lakhs to avail the exemption u/s 54???
