PURCHASE BILL RECORDED TWICELY

A person is composition dealer,
A purchase invoice is recorded twicely in year 19-20.
Annual return of 19-20 is already submitted and accounts have been finalized.
Now can we correct the same in 20-21.
whether to show it as purchase return or we can show it as cash payment ?
