I am filling ITR2 i have some capital gain Rs 3456/- i have show in schlude 111A capital gain. but i have purchase mutual fund of Rs.178900/- so could you suggest me where i can show purchase amount.

Purchase is not required to be declare in ITR2, unless required to be filled 'Schedule AL.'

Unless sold in the same year, the invested amount cannot be declared in ITR2.
Tax saving investment then it is to be disclosed
