Puchase of Capital Item ; Repiar of Part i & Insurance Claim

Dear sir, We have a import of production machinery of Rs.17 Lacs, we located at Baroda – so we take marine insurance from Mumbai to Baroda from Reliance General Insurance. In Transit there is a damage in Machinery & all cables & connections damaged heavily, Then Supplier of Machinery inspected and gave quotation of Rs.1.75 Lac . We ordered for that and we received the material also. Meanwhile we lodged the claim of Rs.1.75 Lac – Get the process of surveyors & everything over and we get a Rs.1.40 Lac for reimbursement. Now my question is , how many entries to be passed ? & What treatment to be given of insurance claim of less amount passed.
