my a client having tours business and they have GSTIN NO, ther proffession tax certificate showing Rs.1000/- p.a. but my query was gstin user ptec tax compulsary paid Rs. 2500/-?
please help me.
Professional tax is based on turnover limit 1000 rupees P.Tax is levied on the basis of your turnover.
For example in state of West Bengal, owner of a factory has to pay professional tax only if the preceding year turnover is greater than 5 lac rupees and in case of companies there is a mandatory payment of rupees 2,500 /- each year as professional tax irrespective of turnover.
