Provident fund accumulation govt servants
I received my Provident Fund accumulations & encashment of Earned Leave on superannuation in May 2016. Wanted to know are these exempted from Income Tax please. thanks

Encashment if earn leave at the time of retirement is exempt.
Also RPF, PPF & SPF are exempted while URPF accumulated balance is taxable.
