Can we use "& Co" for proprietorship Firm

For example: Shah & Co

No, you cannot use anything that implies a legal structure

As per my understanding, u can use it.. co. doesn't always means a company rgstrd under companies act. There are firms using such names

Thank you for the update.

However I registered a proprietorship firm as & CO, and it has been approved in GST aswell from Bank side.
