Proprietor firm query mumbai

1- Can i register proprietor firm at my residence address? 2- Do i need BMC Gumasta if i register at home? 3- We are software developers so is it necessary to register for service tax first year? 4- Can i use my personal PAN for this proprietor company for opening bank accounts etc?

Personal PAN is used for Proprietory firm, No need for seperate PAN for Proprietory firm.

The status of propreitership firm is not separate from yourself. SO there is no need to apply for a separate pan number your pan is sufficient for all work related to you and you propreitership firm.
