How long should a person ideally wait after selling one property before selling another property?

As such there is no restriction or any requirement to have buffer time period in between. When you sell any property, and get any gain, which is liable for capital gain tax (unless you are builder, then profits). Once you pay the liable tax or take ligitimate exemptions/deductions as per current rules, there is no question of you be afraid of any harassment. Make proper planning as per the act; for that may take help of any tax expert and relax!
