Profits of business
suppose profit includes a sum received by foreign government for use of company's product. but this wasnt brought to India. Will it be included in assessable profits?

If your status is ‘resident,’ your global income is taxable in India. If your status is ‘NRI,’ your income which is earned or accrued in India is taxable in India.
