Hi,

 

Kindly clarify this confusion :

If a person's salary fixed as per terms of employment is 15000, then should that salary be considered for PT deduction or the salary for number of days worked by him ?

Hi Phalgun,

U can consider the number of days he worked. 

If  he worked 30days and earn Rs.15,000 u will pay the PT as applicable. 

If he earned below Rs.15,000 u can pay the PT as applicable (as per slabs issued by your  state government).
