dear members plz help!!
suppose professional tax liability is Rs.1000.
will the employee pay entire 1000 or employer shall bear any percentage to that...eg. 20%/50% etc?

Emplyer's duty to deduct the Prof tax from employee salary & pay the to government.

Employees only liable to pay this tax and claim as a dudction u/s 16(iii) from Salary income.

IT IS LIABILITY OF EMPLOYEE SO EMPLOYEE HAVE TO PAY ENTIRE TAX . NO SHARE OF EMPLOYER
