Professional misconduct?
If an auditor audits and signs the financial statements of his relative's business ..will it amount to professional misconduct ?
The auditor is not associated with the business of his relative in any way .

He is disqualified as per sec 141 n will be punishable u/s 147.
Also guilty under clause 4 of second schedule of ca act .
Relative here means:
brother sister , father mother and spouse,
father mother, brother sister of spouse,
son & doughters including in-laws.
Yes, he will be guilty of professional misconduct.

CA given the net worth certificates of pvt ltd where director is relative of CA, then it can be a professional misconduct?
