hello friends plz tell me whether we should deduct tds on advance payment nd on provisions for expenditure like audit fee payable.

Hi Mr Ankit

all one needs to do is jus take the entire amount of audit fee payable including the tds part and show it as outstanding audit fee payable under current liabilities in the balancesheet. no seperate TDS need to be shown.

Yes, Ankit TDS is to be deducted on Advance payment as well as provision for expenditure like Audit fees, professional fees etc.....

Dear Ankit if u will show the progressive payment to Auditors for Audit fee as ADVANCE PAYMENT TO AUDITOR than auditor will be disqualified under sec 226 of companies Act ,1956. Plz read qualification and disqualification. Hence TDS is deductable.

Is there any professional misconduct on behalf of the C.A if a client attempts to reduce the audit fees from Rs 18000 to Rs 9000????

Is there any professional misconduct under C.A Act on behalf of the C.A if a client attempts to reduce the audit fees from Rs 18000 to Rs 9000 because transactions compared to last year is limited????

CA informed selected MNCs, who are not their clients that MR Y, the former partner in charge of taxation of one of the largest accounting firms of the world, had joined them as partner.
