29 October 2009is there any soft ware - referencer for professional tax - both - employees- employer on All india basis .
Are returns required to be filed monthly/qtrly/yly.
Also states like tripura are insiting on names and salries to be submitted along with challan
is it correct

It is a state act so refer the same .Profession Tax in TamilNadu every Halfyearly.It differs from state to state .in my view not to nod our head on this just fair enough to remember for the state in which we are employed.Slab depends on salary and changes from year to year

Proffessional Tax is Partially Decentralized , State wise only.....You can get the details in state commercial tax website
