Profession tax

If any Person runs a Business (Proprietory Concern) in Maharashtra & He also works as a employee in other place there his Employer deducts PT i.e 2500 Pa, Does it mandatory to pay Profession Tax of 2500 i.e PTEC because he runs a Business
