if an employees profession tax on salary p.m is rs-200 BUT he is present in duty for only 15days so we should deduct PT as per 15 days of salary / straight forward rs-200.

Profession Tax payable is ascertained on the basis of Actual Gross salary payable to employee. e.g if his gross salary is 15000/- then P.T. is payable on 15000/- if his salary is for 15 days say Rs. 7500/- then P.T. is payable as per that salary.
