On 07th January 2013 I had filled up the application form for registration to Common Proficiency Test Course. Now I want to sit for the CPT exam on December 2014. Kindly let me know the next process for that.
In column Registration number of the application form there is a printed 10 character (9numbers & 1 text) alloted, is that require for future.

Mr. Rathin. You r now registered with ICAI. You have to fill exam form for the exam held in dec.14.
ICAi provide a uniqe registration number ie. CRO number to every student that is required till the completation of your CA.
