Apply for membership (provided u completed ur GMCS, if not than complete that first).GET Form 2A..it requires following details
An attested copy of :
1.GMCS certificate,
2.articleship completion certificate,
3.10th,12th,ty marksheet,
4.Ca final mark sheet , photocopy of marksheet downloaded from internet will also do,since u ll receive original marksheet after sometym
5.mark sheet of any other course done during articleship like Mcom, icwa, cs and if u havent taken the permission of ICAI than u either have to submit form 112 or dont show it
Fulfill CPE hours requirement depending on whether u ll b holding COP or not , whether u in India or abroad...

There is no link or exepmtion for CA in CS. CS i n independent. Yu can directly appear for executive exam if you are graduate.
There is exemption in one subject for a post gratuate

Eligibility
(1) As Associate/Fellow member of the Institute can apply for grant of Certificate of Practice in the
prescribed Form '6' together with requisite fee
(2) A member engaged in the categories of business/occupation as defined in Appendix (9) under
Regulation 190A is eligible to apply for Certificate of Practice.
Requirements
(1) The member is required to apply for Certificate of Practice in Form 6. The Form complete in all
respect and signed is required to be submitted.
(2) An account payee Cheque (for local members only) /Demand Draft for Rs. 1600/- w.e.f. 1.4.2008
alongwith annual membership fee of the relevant year should be submitted.
(3) If the member is engaged in other business/occupation, he is required to apply for permission of the
Council, by submitting application in the prescribed Form.
Note : it has been decided to issue the Script for Certificate of Practice bearing the photograph
st and signature of the member who have applied or on after 1 September, 2008. Members
are requested to submit Form '6' affixing recent color photograph in the boxed provided in
the Form.

Hi Mohan,
I just want to know that the procedure you have mentioned for obtaining CA membership is same even now.
I mean I have cleared my CA Final in MAy'2010 and I want to apply for membership ceretificate.
Can you please help me in this regard.
