Problem with articleship plz suggest adequate remedies

Dear sir, i am a student of CA final, registered as an article in a firm in delhi since 15.02.2010 , As per the lastest amendments by icai regarding transfer in articleship, i can opt for transfer from my firm since i am still in my first year of training till 14.02.2011. I requested my principle for the same on 15.11.2010, gave a written application on 22.11.2010 and 6 reminders till now, but i didnt get any positive response and no actual response in written, i didnt even get any recieving for my applications, which i finally mailed, Now my principal has started torturing me for past 1 month, though i still have 20 days to complete my first year, do i have a remedy to this??

Can in any case my CA can delay my attempt by showing extra leaves through extension. What remedy do i have,, plz help!!

Without the signature of the Principal Institute wont allow the transfers. The same has been informed by Institute in its notification of Articleship Transfer as below:

In case of dispute between principal and articled assistant, the matter be settled amicably among the articled assistant and the principal concerned and the Institute shall not interfere in such cases.

Hence, the only remedy, in my view, available is try to convince your principal and make good with him.

Either try to sort it down peacefully with him or, pester him everyday, stand on his head every evening or throughout the day, start begging, pleading, crying for transfer... It would be humiliating (for you and your CA), but emotional attyachar works a lot of the times.

Asking transfers and getting it, ain't an easy job. If you want it, prove that you need it and take it! Show him why it is important for you to take transfer. Make sure you don't piss him off doing this.

You should meet your principal with your parents.

They can easily convance him instead of you.

I don't know whether saying this be of any good or bad, or get you different results, but I suggest to sort things peacefully all by yourself, it helps you to take responsibilities and it is one of the steps to come out of the comfort zone of being under their wings..
