Printing press can apply for composition scheme ,if yes....under manufacturing category ?....plz clarify anyone plz...

Yes, Business of printing amounts to manufacture.
No, it is neither trading nor manufacturing
Please refer section 32(1)(iia)
No you cannot opt for composition scheme , As the supply of services cannot opt for Composit scheme
It is a service Better to be in gst regular If u r printing only news paper n magazines Ur output is exempt n Input have to reverse in that months gstr 3b untill gstr 2 is Mandatory
As per Section 10 CGST Act

2] The registered person shall be eligible to opt under sub-section [1], if:-

[a] he is not engaged in the supply of services other than supplies referred to in clause [b] of paragraph 6 of SCHEDULE II;

So composit dealer cannot supply services (except restaurant services)
Thanks all of you,but some of the dealer in surrounding area have registered under composition scheme and paying 2%...
Composition rates was later changed There is no 2 tax rate 1 for all5 for restaurant service
yes, now the composition rate for manufacturer is 1%
please clear the issue...
