Our system of democracy has made the president a mere puppet...they say the president is the commander in chief of the armed forces....i agree with Mr Danendra but what can the common man do....these polticians forgot the mumbai blasts it seems or they want to be ignorants to realities....nothing can change even if any of the politicalparties come to power....will their mindset change.....We dont have a presidential system unlike united states....
Please do not blaim to the contitution of India, it is the best system in the whole world. The problem as swapnil said is not the constitution but moral of a poltician. Why we all are favopuring a non democratic system.
We all have power in our hand why not we using it why a person who has a criminal background won the election and what we are doing ........ just criticise our cnstitution.

i think rather than changing the system, we change the people governing the system.........how shameful this whole thing of elections has become......the common man is being fooled publicly.....we need to think r we actually independent after 6 decades of independence....criticising the constitution wont help.....the people governing us are insensitive to the common man...they want only power & money...after 5 years it will be the same story..the joke i heard is that voting can change things but a person's name is not there in the voting list...so he cant vote....
