Hello Experts,
My Query is, if a person is to be appointed as additional Director in a Private Company, needs to be present in the meeting held for his appointement.
Pls Guide me asap!!

Dear Ravi,
As rules allow, the appointment of additional Director can be done through circular resolutin, it should not be mandatory for that person to be present at the meeting.

Thanks aditya, it means that if we dont pass reso by circulation, and instead, we can hold a meeting for appointment though prospective add.Director is absent

Would like to tell you that in this case, that person can not be there coz, it is about his own appointment.
