Preponement of final attempt

The institute has confirmed abt the C.A final attempt being preponed by 6 months..tat means one can giv the attempt on completion of 2 yrs instead of earlier 3 yrs..bt rumours r doin rounds..tat again there s a preponement of addl 6 months gona take place..i.e:one can giv the attepmt on completion of 1 1/2 yrs of articleship..any idea on hw true it is? :-/

Hi Dear,

U r thinking in right way. The issue would resolve in next 3-4 days. It is almost final.
If it finally decided, will be great thing for students.

Most probably on 08.12.2006.

as far as i know the new preponement is final it is just a matter of announcing it officially

as soon as the election of ICAI get over it ll b official announced

i m damn sure regarding preponement and it will b declared by january

regrding preponment lots of rumors are there.
but today in one of the reputed teacher has told that one can give paper one after completion of 2 years of traning.

2yrs is definitely there..tats declared..n i hav recd letter from icai too....i was askin after completion 1 1/2 yrs ...any idea?

hi,
I have also heard from one of my friend that Final attempt is going to Preponned (i.e . One can appear in Final exam after completion of 1 & 1/2 year of Articleship training). But i dont think that 's gone happen.

Hi,

I have heard from one of my source in ICAI regarding preponement of CA final exams by another 6 months and regarding that, notification is expected to be released on 15th December 2006.

though i will more then be happy to get the preponement but there seem no reason for such a move.

we dont have any supportings for the preponement so till that we can say that it is rumour
