i have deducted the tds for my client for the professional fees paid by them to the lawyer and in form 26 q?
so now do i require to submit annual statement or how to prepare the form 16 and give it to my client? by myself

You will be required to give Tax deducted certificate in Form no. 16A to the lawyer by your self. Still the provisions of not issues form no. 16 & 16A has not been implemented. Also no annual tax deducted statement required to be filed. Quartely return in form no. 26Q is sufficient.

and my doubt is how shall i prepare a form 16 am a CA student but i have never done things related to TDS . so we can prepare from 16 ourself or need any software.. or anything needed to prepare the statement pls guide

You files you TDS return? If you yourself file a return by using TDS software then the same software will be having option to generate TDS certificate in Form No. 16A.

And TDS certificate in form no. 16 is to given for salaried persons and for other than salary Form no. 16A

Hi Amit,
I am attaching the Form 16A, in this only you have to fill and give it to your lawer, this is the TDS certificate for professional.
and also you mentioned acknowledgement number in form 16A.
If u have any doubts let me know.

thank you , for your kind help but i have filed the TDS throught the FCs and aforesaid is that they have filed it we had just handed over them the paper works. so is there any way to file TDS by ourself, i have heard about e-TDS but have no knowledge about it, as am in small city comparing to Metros nobody here knows about the e-TDS , here we use WinMan Tax Software can we file e-TDS through some software by ourself then submit the CD to the FCs
