Hello friends, I am going to appear for my CA-Final examination in Nov 2016. I want to know that how should I prepare for the Accounting Standards AS for FR paper.? I have notes of praveen Sharma sir but these are not up to mark as per examination pattern. So can you suggest me any type of notes or any book for self study which covers theory as well as numerical questions and IND-AS as well?

Read whatever notes you have and do Study Material Illustrations and PM questions, those should be very much sufficient. Do not waste time in referrring other books also. SM and PM are more than enough

Remember concept clarity is very necessary to clear your exams and AS comes around for generally 30-40 marks in FR paper
Go through D S Rawat. His book on AS is really good. Concepts are explained in a simple manner and adequate number of sums are covered too.
why not u go for padhukas books it is good for conceptally as well as practice sums also
nishant, unsolved questions given in the book has hints or answers. Illustrations given in the book is for presentation purpose as well as for practice purpose. so you can take the idea from illustrations and can practice unsolved questions and cross check with answers given.

Does Praveen Sharma sir's latest notes cover Ind AS?
parveen sharma sir has came out with ind as book (relica of study module ,but in ques answer form, also some illus on ind as given.. Unique feature of this book is old AS is given followed by its corresponding Ind AS, so comparision is easy. Go for it.
