NOT AT ALL.....ICAI ke liye to khushi ki baat hogi ki table se uth ke unke student life mein uth rahe hain. wht the hell will icai have any problem ?? icai restrictions are just for articleship programs. sports are anyways favoured everywhere by law. nobody nd no organisation can restrict you from goins into sports (ofcourse as long as their work / job is not hampered) & practising CA to waise bhi "king of own terms" hai...freedom of choice. ranji trophy will be played for not more then 45 days in total...(if this person reaches finals :) ), its not even sesaonal occupation...relax aur khlne do

i think , if it is in the form of an professional engagement with the board than you should have a prior approval of council of icai

no ways...nobody can restrict the right to trade, profession or freedom of activity... cant a CA do business. or mba, a full time job as anything else??? ofcourse he can ..so once you become a CA u have full right to do anything you want
