Yes, you can do Industrial Training in any industry.
But avoid both these industries.
IT industry should be preferred when you have knowledge and experience of other industries too. A CA is required in the integration of Financial modules in various IT products.
If you will do Industry Training in IT, then you will miss out the exposure of other industries.
You can go for the IT Industry after qualifying CA.
Derviative Markets should also be avoided. In the Industrial Training, all you will do : Data analysis. For data analysis, knowledge of various industries is imperative. This knowledge can only be, easily, acquired in contemporary articleship in Mid Size CA Firm. This means to be good in the derivative market, the articleship will be more helpful.
So, for the Industrial Training, both of these areas are not suitable for long term growth.
Never, underestimate articleship in CA Firms.
Also, Industrial Training will make you an expert in one industry. And, Articleship will make you a CA in multiple industries.
A CA has to be knowledgeable in all the industries but can an expert of one industry be knowledgeable in all the industries ?
Certainly not. ( Just my opinion )
At last, If you really want to do Industrial Training, do it from a manufacturing MNC or a manufacturing Listed Indian Company.
